How it works
The equal time point (ETP) is where continuing and returning take the same time: distance = D·GSh/(GSo+GSh). The point of no return (PNR) is the farthest you can go and still return within your usable endurance E: time = E·GSh/(GSo+GSh). A planning aid: use your operator’s fuel policy.
