Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Fly GACA, the website at flygaca.com and its related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What Fly GACA is
Fly GACA is an independent, educational reference platform for Saudi civil aviation. It provides a study library that indexes and links to public aviation documents, and — in later releases — an AI study assistant. It is operated privately and is not affiliated with the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). See our Disclaimer for the full statement on this.
2. Educational use only
The Service is provided for education, study and familiarisation. You must not rely on it for flight planning, in-flight decisions, dispatch, maintenance, or any other operational purpose. The authoritative source for any regulation or aeronautical information is always GACA, and you are responsible for verifying against the latest official publication.
3. Acceptable use
When you use the Service, you agree not to:
- use it for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable regulation;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- scrape, harvest or bulk-extract content except as expressly permitted;
- misrepresent the Service as official, or remove or obscure its disclaimers;
- use the Service in any way that could mislead others about the status or currency of aviation information.
4. Intellectual property
The Fly GACA name, brand, design, original written material and software are the property of Fly GACA. Regulatory and aeronautical documents indexed by the Service remain the material of their source, GACA; Fly GACA claims no ownership of them and links to GACA's official copies. You may use the Service for your own personal, educational reference.
5. Third-party content and links
The Service links to GACA and other third-party sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or accuracy. A link is not an endorsement.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, currency, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Fly GACA and the people behind it will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, or from any reliance on its content. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
8. Changes to the Service and these terms
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, and we may update these terms, at any time. Where changes are material we will take reasonable steps to highlight them. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and any dispute relating to them or to the Service is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@flygaca.com.
These terms are an initial draft and are being reviewed by Saudi legal counsel before the platform's public launch. Additional terms will apply to paid subscriptions and to flight-school accounts when those features launch.
